A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur.
SP (city) Rajesh Kumar said the girl had gone to work with a woman in a farm on Thursday when a youth dragged her aside and raped her.
Hearing his screams, the locals working in the nearby fields rushed to the spot.
The girl reported the incident to her family members, after which a complaint was filed.
Police are still looking for the youth, the report said.
