With 6,660 new Covid cases registered in India in the last 24 hours, the active caseload in the country has come down to 63,380, updated Union Health Ministry data on Tuesday.
On the last day, 24 people died due to this virus. While the daily positivity rate was recorded at 3.52 percent, the positivity rate was estimated at 5.42 percent on a weekly basis.
The number of Covid cases has been recorded at 4.49 crore. India’s active cases now account for 0.14 percent of the total infections.
According to ministry data, the national recovery rate has been recorded at 98.67 percent.
The recovered person number has increased to 4,43,11,078 and the case fatality rate has been recorded at 1.18 percent.
So far, the country has administered 220.66 crore Covid vaccine doses all over the India vaccination drive.
