Mizoram reported 83 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 16 fewer than the previous day, taking the tally to 2,27,419, a health department official said.
The death toll from COVID-19 remains at 696.
The single-day positivity rate rose to 15.46 percent from 10 percent the previous day, as new cases were detected from 537 samples tested.
Mizoram currently has 714 active COVID-19 cases, while 2,26,009 people have recovered from the infection so far.
