In an operation at Sharugara ranger in Baikanthapur forest division, forest officials arrested two people carrying pangolin scales. Pangolin scales totaling about 4.5 kg were seized. According to Ranger Sanjay Dutta of the forest department, the suspects had been attempting to smuggle the shipment from Assam to Nepal.
