The stock market opened with a fall, with the Sensex and Nifty trading down 89 points

The stock market opened with a fall on the last trading day. Sensex is trading by breaking 358 and Nifty by 89 points. In the initial time, there is a decline in the shares of the banking sector. Shares from SBI to HDFC Bank are currently broken.

The Indian stock market opened with a decline today. The Sensex is trading down 358.87 points at 61,390.38 and the Nifty 50 is down 89 points at 18,166.80. Bank Nifty is trading at 43,397, down 288 points.

However, amidst the decline, there is a boom in mid and small-cap stocks. BSE Mid Cap is trading at 26,019 points with a gain of 37 points, while BSE Small Cap is trading at 29,476 with a gain of 76 points.

Sensex top gainers and losers

Larsen, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and SBI were among the top-performing Sensex stocks after the market opened.

On the other hand, the shares of HDFC Bank, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel, and Asian Paints are currently seeing a decline.

Nifty top gainers and losers

Adani Enterprises, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Larsen have been among the top-performing stocks of the Nifty after the market opened. At the same time, the shares of HDFC Bank, HDFC, HDFC Life, IndusInd Bank, and Hindalco are seeing a decline.
