Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has been granted divorce from his estranged wife Aesha Mukerji by a Delhi court. The ex-couple tied the knot in October 2012 after falling in love with each other. They also have a son Zorawar.
The cricketer made allegations against his wife on the grounds of cruelty, judge Harish Kumar confirmed all the allegations to be true after Aesha was unable to defend herself or she didn’t contest the said allegations.
It was Aesha’s second marriage with Shikhar, she already have two daughters from her first husband who was an Australian businessman.
In a judgement Shikhar was granted right to make a visit to his son living in Australia with his mom and was also allowed to spend time with the son in India during his school vacations.
