With an eye on the 2024 elections, BJP chief JP Nadda and senior leader Amit Shah will on Tuesday draw out a roadmap with major party leaders to win 144 Lok Sabha seats which could not be done in previous elections.
The list includes constituencies where the BJP placed second or third in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and some that the party never won.
The party has divided these constituencies into clusters and appointed a Union Minister in charge of them.
Another minister was sent to assess the political situation by visiting all assembly segments in these constituencies spread across states including West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
Several Union Ministers including Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupender Yadav, Anurag Thakur, Mansukh Mandaviya, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Narendra Singh Tomar, Smriti Irani are expected to attend the meeting at the BJP headquarters.
In the meeting, the ministers will present a detailed report on these constituencies.
