Kotak Mahindra Bank has launched ‘Sehat Ka Safar 4.0,’ the fourth edition of its nationwide CSR healthcare initiative, reflecting a growing corporate focus on workforce health as a driver of economic productivity within India’s logistics sector. The programme, running from December 18, 2025, to March 31, 2026, will organise 45+ health and eye check-up camps across major transport corridors, aiming to benefit nearly 4,500 truck drivers, transporters, and their families.
The initiative introduces enhanced healthcare delivery measures, including Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) card issuance, expanded laboratory diagnostics, and chest X-ray facilities for early detection of health conditions. Camps will be set up across logistics hubs in Assam, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and other transport touchpoints.
Since its launch in 2022, the programme has conducted over 120 camps across more than 75 cities, reaching nearly 13,500 drivers, highlighting the scale of preventive healthcare gaps in the transport sector. Experts note that improving driver health can reduce downtime, enhance safety, and strengthen supply chain efficiency factors critical for sustaining economic growth.
Kotak Mahindra Bank stated that expanding preventive healthcare outreach will help build a healthier, more resilient transport workforce that underpins India’s expanding logistics economy.
