Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) felicitated India’s Boxing Star Lovlina Borgohain for her outstanding performance at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Lovlina is the third Indian boxer to win a medal at the Olympics. She will go down in history as one of India’s greatest Olympians and boxers of all time.
Fulfilling Lovlina’s personal wish, the crude and natural gas major ONGC will build a personal gymnasium for the Olympic medalist as a token of recognition for her unflinching commitment.
“We are extremely proud of Lovlina’s achievement. Her victory is an inspiration to all of us, to never give up till we achieve our goal. As a token of appreciation, we are happy to fulfill her wish by building a personal gymnasium and associated infrastructure to allow her to practice properly during her time at home”, said Ms Sushma Rawat, Executive Director, Assam & Assam Arakan Basin, Jorhat, ONGC.
