Jiribam District Police inaugurates The Jiribam Public library-cum-reading space at old Sub-Jail

Jiribam District Police inaugurated The Jiribam Public library-cum-reading space at old Sub-Jail, one of a kind initiative in the state taken by the District Police Department powered by TBBT. The library was inaugurated in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Commandant of CRPF, Zonal Education Officer and other district-level officers.

The inauguration program is attended by Chief Guest Shri Kshetrimayum Ravikumar Singh, (IPS),  Suprintendant of Police, Jiribam, Male mnganbaChenglel, Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam, Guest Of Honour  Shri Huidrom Premjit Meetel, Commandant, Jairolpokpi and Smt. Zonal Education Officer, Jiribam District. Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri N.  Library opened for public. As part of community policing, Jiribam District Police has been trying to establish a District Police Public Library in Jiribam. District Police was able to complete the project with the CSR support of Plan India and Reckitt Company. District Police library was inaugurated by DC Jiribam, as chief guest,” he wrote on social media. Speaking on the development, Ravi Bhatnagar, Director, External Affairs and Partnerships, SOA, Reckitt, said, ” At TBBT, we are working relentlessly to reach adolescents and to shape them into responsible and healthy adultsfor a healthier future.”
