India logs over 6,000 Covid infections in 24 hours

According to Union Health Ministry data updated on Friday, India recorded another jump as 6,050 Covid cases were logged in the country in the last 24 hours. yesterday the country reported 5,300 active covid cases.

With this, the country’s active COVID-19 caseload reached 28,303 active cases, an increase of nearly 2716 cases.

As the case progresses, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will chair a review meeting with the health ministers of all states and Union Territories today, news agency ANI reported.

“The Center has regularly issued guidelines to states and Union Territories on Covid-19. PM Modi has reviewed the matter with all states. Today, Health Minister Dr Mandaviya will hold a review meeting with state and union territory health ministers,” MOS Health Dr Bharti Pravin Pawar was quoted as saying by the agency.
