Bihar Ram Navami violence: Schools shut in Rohtas, 1 killed, over 100 held across state

In several parts of India a state of violence has arouse following Ram Navami. Bihar and Kolkata have witnessed a large scale violence in the state. The two districts of Bihar Nalanda and Rohtas experienced a fresh violence that broke out on Thursday and continued till Saturday night. Police has also run to the spot where clashes occurred and arrested people who were found violating the law and order.

Due to clashes vehicles, houses and shops were found damage. An announcement has been made by the government that all the government and private owned schools will remain closed till April 4 in Bihar’s Rohtas district due to violence.

Necessary actions are being taken by officials and a high level meeting was also being chaired by CM Nitish Kumar in wake of violence.
