At Indo-Nepal border in Kharibari one arrested with cough syrup

Kharibari, 20th December: In a significant breakthrough, an individual was arrested with cough syrup at the Indo-Nepal border in Kharibari. The arrested accused has been identified as Bhawani Shankar Sharma, a resident of Sikkim. According to reports, an individual was on his way from India to Nepal. During this, the SSB personnel sensed suspicion and initiated a search of the person. During the search, 97 bottles of cough syrup were recovered. Apart from this the SSB also recovered Rs 15,000 demonetized Indian currency and, Rs 96,000 Nepali currency. Following this, the accused was arrested. Later, the accused was handed over to Kharibari police station for further course of action. Actually on Wednesday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Divisional Court. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation.

Today crime in North Bengal is increasing and people are getting problem from it. Actually people should take this case very seriously and take immediate action if they find anything suspicious. Police should also take this type of case very strictly and do the correct action on it so that in future this thing doesn’t happen.
