The Assam government led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma has decided that mobile internet services will be suspended for four hours in the districts where the Assam Direct Recruitment Exam 2022 will be held to fill vacancies in Grade III and Grade IV jobs.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma held a virtual meeting with the DCs and stakeholders related to Assam’s Direct Recruitment Examination to conduct the examination process smoothly for the recruitment of around 30,000 Grade III and grade IV posts.
About 14 lakh candidates are expected to appear in these exams to be held on September 21, 28 and 11.
The Chief Minister further added that there will be no laxity in maintaining the integrity of the examination. He also said that he has directed DCs and SPs to prevent “rogue elements” from disrupting the examination.
