Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had been dating for more than four years and are tying the knot on April 14. The pre-wedding festivities of the couple will begin from today (April 13). Lord Ganesha puja will be held at 11:00 am onwards at Ranbir’s Bandra residence Vastu followed by a Mehendi ceremony at 2:00 pm. The sangeet ceremony will be hosted tomorrow.
Both of theirs residence have been decorated with bright lights. Several pictures on the internet shows their residence decorated in pink and golden lights. Vastu, which was bought by Ranbir in 2016 was seen covered in golden lights.
Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also reached Mumbai with her husband and daughter last night. Ranbir’s close friend Ayan Mukerji arrived at his residence ahead of the pre-wedding festivities.
Alia’s stepbrother Rahul Bhatt confirmed that the security arrangements for the functions will be stringent as 200 bouncers have been hired for the day.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding is going to be an intimate affair with family and close friends in attendance. Rahul Bhatt also claimed that only 28 guests would attend the wedding and it would be mostly family members.
Ranbir and Alia, had fallen in love with each other on the sets of their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’.
