Ladakh reported 49 new cases of coronavirus, taking the number of COVID-19 cases to 28,513, while 10 patients were discharged from hospitals.
According to officials, 228 people have succumbed to Covid-19 in Ladakh. Of these, 168 people died in Leh and 60 in Kargil.
Officials said the number of active COVID-19 cases in Ladakh has reached 150 – all in Leh.
A total of 589 reported samples were examined in Ladakh.
The total number of recoveries stands at 28,138.
