Yuvraj Singh shares Friendship Day post, Sania Mirza is not ‘happy’ with it

Legendary Indian cricketer and Indian Premier League (IPL) icon Yuvraj Singh shared a sweet video to celebrate International Friendship Day on Sunday. One of the most decorated cricketers in the history of the gentlemen’s game, Yuvraj opted to pay an emotional tribute to his colleagues and associates by sharing a compilation of the sweet memories the cricket icon created with his life-long friends on the special day. Yuvraj’s special tribute also prompted a noteworthy response from tennis icon Sania Mirza.

“To a lifetime of friendship #HappyFriendshipDay,” Yuvraj captioned his post that featured veteran cricketers including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, and Harbhajan Singh. Taking cognisance of the post shared by Yuvraj, tennis superstar Sania revealed that she was ‘quite offended’ by the special Friendship Day video shared by the two-time World Cup winner. “Cute but I am quite offended not to be in this video motu #justsaying,” Sania left a reply on the post.

Shared some two hours ago, the clip has already garnered 3.5 lakh views and several comments. However Mirza had a ‘complaint’ regarding Singh’s post.

Netizens however found the clip to be a nostalgic one. While some pointed out that MS Dhoni is missing in the clip, others couldn’t stop sharing happy reactions after looking at their favourite players sharing some light moments.

“This is the best,” wrote an Instagram user. “My whole childhood,” commented another. “So amazing,” said a third.
