West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee does not require hospitalisation, says AIIMS

The ED on Monday gave info to Kolkata court that West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee, arrested in connection with an alleged faculty jobs scam, has persistent fitness issues, but does not require hospitalisation.

The ED introduced AIIMS Bhubaneswar scientific report of Partha Chatterjee in front of the courtroom which mentioned that he is fit and stable.

“There is nothing wrong with scientific reports. He was taking benefit of his position to stay in a state-run hospital. He is fit and can be taken into custody,” ED stated citing AIIMS report.

The Enforcement Directorate demanded 14-day custody of Partha Chatterjee.
