Fulbari, 17th July: On the occasion of Muharram, a voluntary organization distributed sherbet among the passers-by in Fulbari on Wednesday. The incident took place at Murder turn of Fulbari on Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway.
Kamal Hussain, a member of the organization, said that this tradition of distributing sherbet has been going on since 2018. Initially, they started with about 50 members, but this year they have expanded to about 150 members to deliver.
The distribution started at 10 am and continued till noon, providing refreshment to people passing through the Fulbari area.
