Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav promises cultural feast for Delhiites

Delhiites are set to embark on an enchanting journey through the cultural tapestry of Northeast India with the inauguration of “Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav” at Rashtrapati Bhavan from February 8th to 11th, 2024. This four-day celebration, curated by the Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region in collaboration with Northeastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Limited (NEHHDC), promises to be a spectacle of colors, traditions, and flavors.

This event, nestled within the verdant confines of Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Amrit Udyan, stands as a testament to India’s commitment to celebrating its myriad cultural hues. It signifies more than just a cultural exposition; it symbolizes a bridge—connecting the heart of the nation to the vibrant soul of Northeast India.

The inaugural chapter of “Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav” holds profound significance as it pays homage to the Ashtalaxmi—the eight culturally rich states of the Northeast. Through meticulously curated stalls, visitors will have the opportunity to witness the craftsmanship of over 320 artisans, weavers, farmers, and entrepreneurs, each representing their state’s unique heritage.
