A woman died of burns on Thursday.
An FIR has been registered against her husband and other family members at Jahanabad police station.
According to her family members, she got married to a man from Sajna village in 2021. The in-laws allegedly demanded Rs 2 lakh from the woman’s family as dowry.
According to the complaint, the in-laws allegedly poured flammable liquid on the woman and set her on fire after her family members failed to meet the dowry demands.
