In the backdrop of the coming grand consecration ceremony of Ram mandir, the ride-hailing platform Uber launched its electric auto rickshaw service in Ayodhya, operating under the Uber Auto category, in the presence of CM Yogi Adityanath.
Uber announced the launch of its UberGo, an economical car service, and Uber Intercity operations in Ayodhya. These services target to cater to inter-city travel requirements, connecting the holy city with various famous destinations within Uttar Pradesh.
Prabhjeet Singh, President of Uber India and South Asia, emphasized, “With this expansion, we are not only providing enhanced mobility options for tourists and pilgrims but also unlocking earning opportunities for many more in the region.”
“We are committed to contributing to Ayodhya’s tourism, promoting a seamless travel experience, and fostering sustainable economic growth,” added Singh.
