The district police arrested two teachers from Cachar district of Sonai area for torturing a boy and imparting lessons on Jihad.
According to sources, an FIR has been lodged against two persons for the Independent Bazar Islamia Madrasa Ithitim Khana. The men have been accused of wrongful detention, physical and mental torture and indoctrinating students in madrassas with jihadi ideology.
Madrasa authorities, meanwhile, denied the allegations and claimed in front of the media that they do not teach jihadist lessons but Islamic education.
