Phansidewa, June 05: In an important accomplishment, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has detained two persons with 100 grams of brown sugar from Ghoshpukur area of Phansidewa. The suspects have been identified as Anjan Mallik and Sayan Sarkar, residents of Dalkhola area.
Reportedly, the arrest took place during a routine search operation, where along with brown sugar, a laptop was also recovered from the accused. Later the SSB handed over the suspects to Phansidewa police station.
On Wednesday, both the accused were presented in Siliguri court. Police have started a investigation into the incident to uncover further information.
