Toyota’s green vision takes root in Maharashtra: A new chapter for sustainable growth

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has embarked on a heartening journey towards a greener future by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Maharashtra. This agreement paves the way for a Green Field Manufacturing Facility at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, marking a milestone in Toyota’s enduring commitment to India’s sustainable development.

The MOU, a symbol of collaboration and hope, was exchanged between Dr. Harshadeep Kamble, Principal Secretary (Industries), Government of Maharashtra, and Sudeep Santram Dalvi, Director & Chief Communications Officer of TKM. The event, graced by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, also saw the participation of TKM’s MD and CEO Masakazu Yoshimura and Vice Chairperson Manasi Tata.

This proposed facility isn’t just about cars; it’s about dreams of a cleaner, greener India. For the people of Itanagar, Toyota’s expansion means more than just access to state-of-the-art vehicles.
