Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has partnered with the Hornbill Music Festival in Nagaland, India, for the second year in a row. The festival, held at Naga Heritage Village in Kisama, will take place from December 1st to 10th, 2023. This partnership aligns with TKM’s core social values, aiming to preserve and promote local culture and heritage, fostering a strong connection with the Nagaland community.
The Hornbill Festival, a 10-day celebration of Nagaland’s cultural heritage, features a variety of cultural exhibitions and traditional Naga tribe traditions. The event, organized by the Department of State Tourism and the Department of Art & Culture, showcases Naga tribes’ music, dance, feasts, traditional archery, Naga wrestling, indigenous games, and athletic sports. The inaugural session was attended by senior leaders from Kirloskar Systems, TKM, and Toyota Tsusho Insurance Broker India Pvt. Ltd.
The festival also featured business associates from Toyota Tsusho Insurance Broker India Pvt. Ltd. and Okusa Toyota. Mr. Varinder Kumar Wadhwa, General Manager – Strategic Business Unit (East) of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “TKM’s specially curated car pavilion, featuring varied models including the specially customized Hilux for Forest Patrolling, exemplifies our enthusiasm to showcase our diverse product offerings, aimed at providing ‘Mobility for All’ with awesome experiences.”
