Toyota Glanza gets safer with six airbags, launches new ‘Prestige Edition’ package

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced a major safety and value addition to its popular hatchback, the Glanza. The company has now made six airbags standard across all variants, reaffirming its commitment to customer safety. With this update, the Glanza becomes one of the few cars in its segment to offer such a comprehensive safety package. This move is expected to further attract young professionals, first-time buyers, and urban families who value both performance and peace of mind.

In addition, TKM has rolled out a limited-time ‘Prestige Package’ – a stylish accessory bundle that enhances the car’s aesthetics and comfort. The package includes premium door visors, chrome accents, illuminated door sills, and more, and will be available until July 31, 2025. Celebrating over 2 lakh units sold in six years, the Glanza features a fuel-efficient 1.2-litre K-Series engine and offers top-notch features such as a 360-degree camera, HUD, and Toyota i-Connect.

Where demand is rising for premium yet practical hatchbacks, dealers expect the updated Glanza to gain traction among urban youth and working professionals looking for feature-rich, value-for-money options with strong safety credentials. The Glanza starts at Rs. 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
