Anurag Thakur, minister of information and broadcasting, took a harsh stance on complaints about content on OTT platforms on Sunday, saying that profanity and abusive language were not acceptable in the name of creativity. Speaking at a news conference in this location, Thakur stated that the government has taken complaints of profanity and harsh language in content on OTT platforms seriously and would not think twice about taking tough steps to reverse this trend. Invoking abuse in the name of art cannot be tolerated at all, according to Thakur.
