To reach semi-finals at Olympics Lakshya Sen becomes 1st Indian male badminton player

Recently Lakshya Sen has become the first Indian male badminton player to reach the semi-finals in the history of Olympics. Actually the 22-year-old shutter defeated Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien-chen 19-21, 21-15, 21-12 in 75 minutes in the men’s singles quarter-final on Friday. In the round of 16, Lakshya actually had defeated his compatriot HS Prannoy. This is actually very good news for all Indians as today India is performing very well in badminton in the Olympics.

If you see Olympics is very important sport event where sportsman from all part of the world participates. Actually today Indian people mainly give huge importance to cricket but we need to change our mentality and should give importance to other sports like badminton. In fact in this Olympics people have huge expectation from India and want better results.
