Maharashtra’s Thane district recorded 616 new Covid cases taking its tally to 7,14,269 on Monday.
From reports, these new cases were recorded on Sunday. Since last four days, 500 new cases have been recorded in the district.
No new deaths were reported and the death toll in the district remained unchanged at 11,895.
The COVID-19 death rate in Thane is 1.67 percent, the official said.
