On December 5, the Trinamool Congress held a rally at Baghayatin Park in Siliguri. Minister Arup Biswas, holding the hand of Gautam Deb, thousands of people from the Buddhist community joined the Trinamool Congress from different parties. So far no political party has stood by the Buddhists. The people of the Buddhist community in the hills and plains are happy with the initiative of the state government. Vikrant Lama, a member of the Doors Buddhist Cell, said that since the Trinamool Congress government came to power in the state, it has been working for the development of the hill people.
At the initiative of Nima Wangdi Sherpa, co-ordinator of the West Bengal Buddhist Cell, the state government has sided with the Buddhists. Together with him, I will continue to work for development. Another member of the plaintiff, Wangdi Yolmo, said he appreciated the state government’s initiative. He thanked the Chief Minister of the state for creating this organization. He also said that he would be able to stand by the poor Buddhists. He also thanked the co-ordinator of the Sherpa West Bengal Buddhist Cell for such an initiative. Another member of the organization is U.S. Tam
Nima Wangdi Sherpa, chairman of the state refugee cell Mukul Bairagya and other members of the Buddhist cell visited several caves on the plain on Wednesday. In the Bagdogra Bhuttabari area, there is vacant land for building a cave. He also promised to build a new cave there. He then visited several caves in Naxalbari, Panighata and Dudhia. In this regard, Nima Wangdi Sherpa said, “I have taken over the post of chairman of the Sherpa Board on the instructions of the Chief Minister of the state.” This time I got the responsibility of the Buddhist cell.
I am trying to bring all the Buddhist people of the hills, the Terai, the Dwars under one umbrella. The main goal is to develop the whole state from the side of the backward Buddhist people. He is hopeful that the Assembly polls will also benefit from this. The state Trinamool Congress is trying to turn around in the hills and plains that are lagging behind in terms of votes.
On the one hand, holding the hand of the Trinamool Congress in the hills, Bimal-Roshan’s return. On the other hand, bringing the Buddhists of Pahar-Terai-Dwars under the same umbrella would be a good benefit at the ballot box. Such an optimistic state is led by the Trinamool Congress.
