The onset of monsoon is delayed due to the ‘disaster’ that has prevailed for about fifteen days

According to meteorological sources, it is not unusual for cyclones to form before the onset of monsoon. The longest-running cyclone in India’s history is “Vipaya”, whose impact is likely to be felt in parts of the western coast of Gujarat and neighboring Rajasthan in the coming days.

It will bring rain to parts of northwest India in the coming days. This year’s cyclone ‘Viparaya’ has had the most lasting impact on the monsoon. The cyclonic system is being blamed for delaying the advance of monsoon over most parts of the country.

Meteorologists are expecting monsoon rains to end the cyclone that has been prevailing for about fifteen days in the Arabian Sea. Generally Monsoon comes from the southwest and then moves to the rest of the country but which provides heavy rainfall activity in the Indian subcontinent during this time of the year.
