Another death due to dengue in the city of Kolkata. Sushmita Dutta, a resident of Ward No. 118 in Behala, was admitted to a nursing home in Lansdowne since August 31. He died on Saturday. The municipality informed that the thirty-three-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital last Thursday due to physical illness. He was being treated there. The blood pressure was very high. He died of a cerebral attack on Saturday.
Even though he was infected with dengue, it was a secondary infection, the municipality claimed. However, according to hospital sources, dengue is the cause of his death. During the dengue season, Calcutta Municipality’s thought is the garden on both sides of the road. The city has been planted with bamboo fences from north to south. Most trees are planted on Ballygunge Circular Road, Amherst Street, SN Banerjee Road. The larvae of dengue fever mosquitoes are crawling in the bamboo fences surrounded by the afforestation project.
