The national capital witnessed a warm morning on Thursday as the city recorded a minimum temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius, the highest minimum temperature of the month so far, the Met office said.
Skies will be clear on Thursday and heat wave may start from Friday.
The maximum temperature on Thursday is likely to be around 43 degrees Celsius, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The relative humidity was 67 per cent at 8.30 am on Thursday, the Met office said.
Back-to-back showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds provided some respite from the intense heat wave.
