Tata Power’s ‘Powerlinks’ has launched E-Vidya, an e-learning platform under its Digital school lab initiatives in Siliguri. Through E-Vidya, the company aims in the benefit of about 220 teachers and over 15000 students across 57 schools for academic learning in the Jalpaiguri and Siliguri districts. E-Vidya is lined-up with the West Bengal State Board curriculum upto standard 10. E-Vidya intends to make learning a delightful experience for students through animation, riddles, puzzles, stories and digital technology. Its main purpose is to provide proper facility for the teachers and students for effortless interaction. It was launched under the presence of West Bengal Tourism Minister, Goutam Deb.
Powerlinks CEO & ED, Ms Kiran Gupta mentioned that through E-Vidya, they aim in advance and path-breaking solution in the education sector and offer creative teaching and learning experience for school students. ”Ms Diksha Singh, Head HR PTL & TPTCL & CSR Powerlinks said this initiative was adopted by Tata Power Solar under its best practices and has been implemented in association with South Rotary NGO across 27 Government schools in FY 2021 and 30 in FY 2020 in remote villages of Siliguri.
