Tata AIA Life Insurance Co Ltd (Tata AIA) is intensifying its efforts to raise insurance awareness in West Bengal, aligning with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India’s (IRDAI) vision of “Insurance for All by 2047.” As the lead insurer in the state, Tata AIA is executing various initiatives to boost insurance penetration.
The company recently held Career Opportunity Presentations in Siliguri and Krishnagar, Nadia, aimed at recruiting Life Insurance Advisors. Approximately 70 individuals attended, with many opting for agency careers with Tata AIA Life. Girish Kalra, Chief Marketing Officer of Tata AIA, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering consumers through life insurance, stating, “We will continue to empower our consumers in line with our brand positioning of Har Waqt Ke Liye Taiyaar so they can live a fikar-free life.”
One of Tata AIA’s key initiatives is “Bimarath,” a collaboration with IndusInd Bank that involved promotional vans visiting 19 branch locations across 16 districts, including North and South 24 Parganas. The company also partnered with the Chartered Accountants Association of Malda and the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry to promote financial awareness and insurance benefits.In Siliguri , Tata AIA’s drive is particularly impactful as the city’s market is emerging as a crucial hub for financial services. The increased presence of insurance advisors in Siliguri is expected to enhance consumer access to life insurance, ensuring that more families are financially protected.Tata AIA’s ongoing initiatives, including the monthly Masik Bima Divas and an extensive social media campaign, have contributed to securing the lives of over 11,000 consumers in West Bengal by July 2024.
