In a span of 10 days, India has taken on Pakistan for the second time, as they begin their campaign in the Super 4 of the Asia Cup on Sunday. India will be looking to continue their winning streak in the tournament with wins over Pakistan and Hong Kong in their previous matches. Both teams will be trying their best to get off to a winning start in their Super Four campaign. Pakistan will be wise to their good record against India in the last five T20Is. India has secured wins in the last four out of the five matches played between the two teams.
Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the Asia Cup with a knee injury yet to perform well, while Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani is out with a side strain.
India will again face the confusion of choosing between Rishabh Pant or Dinesh Karthik, with the former bringing in the X-factor, whiles the latter is in great form as a finisher.
While the Indian management will be happy with Virat Kohli’s performance in the last match, opener KL Rahul also spent some much-needed time in the middle.
