Siliguri Municipal Corporation Administrator Mr. Goutam Deb held a metting with some health officials today at SMC regarding the intention to stop the Third Wave of Coronavirus.
Mentioning the media, Goutam Deb mentioned that many issues including vaccinations were discussed in the meeting. Within this month, Oxygen plants will be up and running in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. At the regarding same time, the areas that has been reported by numerous COVID-19 cases in the city has been declared as containment zones.
With addition to this, the markets of Siliguri will be closed for a day to sanitize. Apart from this, tourists that are visiting Darjeeling will have to take the both doses of COVID vaccine and produce an RTPCR negative report in order to have a successful entry.
