Škoda Auto India has registered sales of over 1,00,000 cars over two years, thanks to its successful growth strategy with locally developed and produced Kushaq and Slavia models. The company reached this milestone in the shortest time in its India operations, following 2022 being the company’s biggest year. The continued demand for Kushaq and Slavia drove strong sales, with the Kushaq recording an all-time high annual sales volume.
The company expanded to 260 customer touchpoints across the country at the end of 2023. India remains a key market for the company outside Europe, and it has a fleet of crash-tested cars rated 5-stars for adults and children.
In 2023, Škoda achieved sales of 48,755 units from January 1 to December 31, 2023. Brand Director Petr Janeba emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum through 2023, focusing on continuous enhancements across the product range, widening the network, and improving sales and after-sales quality.
