Škoda Auto India has unveiled its much-anticipated Kylaq SUV, marking its entry into the sub-4m SUV segment. The Kylaq comes with a range of variants, starting at INR 7.89 lakh for the Classic trim, and offers customers a compelling value proposition. Bookings for the SUV open today at 4 pm, with deliveries set to commence on January 27, 2025. The first 33,333 customers will receive a complimentary 3-year Standard Maintenance Package (SMP), effectively reducing maintenance costs to INR 0.24 per kilometer.
Powered by the efficient 1.0 TSI engine, the Kylaq offers a choice of a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. It boasts over 25 standard safety features, including six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, and Electronic Stability Control, ensuring top-notch safety across all variants. The SUV’s global design, robust driving dynamics, and modern features are expected to redefine the customer experience in India.
The Kylaq has already generated significant interest, with over 160,000 expressions of interest through Kylaq hand-raisers and dealer enquiries. In Siliguri, the SUV is poised to tap into the growing demand for premium compact SUVs, offering customers a blend of European technology at an attractive price point, catering to the region’s diverse automotive market.
