Škoda Auto India Embraces Digitalization for Next Phase of Expansion

Škoda Auto India has launched its new compact SUV, marking the start of a new era in the automotive industry. The company successfully navigated the New Era by enhancing user engagement, customer involvement, and digitalization through a series of 360-degree digital activities, resulting in significant sales and increased customer and fan engagement.

The Škoda Auto India campaign, “Name Your Škoda,” involved users, customers, and fans in choosing the name for the compact SUV set to launch in 2025. Over 1,50,000 names have been submitted, with over 21,000 unique.

 The campaign adheres to Škoda’s tradition of naming all internal combustion SUVs with a ‘K’ and ‘Q’ followed by one or two syllables. Škoda Auto India celebrated its landmark moment in India by offering a 24-hour digital promotion on March 24, 2024, which saw 709 cars booked within the 24-hour period, enabling customers to connect with the brand and access its 5-star safe cars. Škoda Gearheads, a digital community driven by NFTs, has been launched, and showrooms across India have been fully digitalized.  Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said: “We are constantly adapting and evolving to reach out to even more customers to meet their needs and aspirations in this vast and diverse market.”
