Electric vehicle maker Simple Energy has launched its first retail outlet in Siliguri, marking a significant step in expanding its presence across eastern India. The new facility has been set up in partnership with CTA Connect and operates as a 3S outlet offering sales, service and spares under one roof. Spread across 2,400 sq. ft., the store has been designed with a modern, customer-centric layout aimed at delivering an immersive brand experience. It showcases products from Simple Energy’s portfolio, including the recently launched Simple One Gen 2 (5 kWh) and Simple OneS Gen 2 electric scooters. The Simple One Gen 2 offers an IDC range of 265 km, while the Simple OneS Gen 2 delivers a range of 191 km. The outlet also stocks a range of accessories for customers.
Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy, said the launch of the Siliguri store represents a key milestone in the company’s eastern India expansion strategy. He noted that Siliguri, as a gateway to the Northeast, holds strong potential for electric mobility and will help the company bring its long-range scooters closer to regional customers.
Currently, Simple Energy operates 63 outlets across cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi and Chennai. The company plans to further expand into Nagpur, Ranchi and Bhubaneshwar in the coming months. Siliguri is emerging as an important hub for electric mobility adoption in eastern India due to its strategic location and growing demand for sustainable transport solutions. Industry observers believe the entry of brands like Simple Energy could accelerate EV awareness and adoption across North Bengal and neighbouring northeastern states.
The Simple One Gen 2 (5 kWh) is priced from ₹1,77,999 (ex-showroom, Siliguri), while the Simple OneS Gen 2 is priced at ₹1,49,999 (ex-showroom, Siliguri). Customers can visit the store at Sevoke Road in Siliguri for test rides, bookings and accessories, while online bookings are also available through the company’s official website.
