The Iskcon Mandir of Siliguri is making ready in full swing for the Rath Yatra which will be held on 01st July. The temple authorities inspected the wheel of the chariot and different equipments used in the procession. The chariot is being cleaned and painted to give it a sparkling look. Meanwhile, this year’s celebration is anticipated to be grand as the rath yatra should not be held the previous two years due to the pandemic.

On behalf of the temple, Namkrishna Das mentioned that three chariots of Sri Jagannath, Sri Baladeva and Sri Subhadra respectively will be taken out this year in Siliguri. “The human beings will be in a position to witness the Gods on the streets of the town once again after two years,” he added.
