Siliguri gold trader missing for nine days

Siliguri, Nov 29: Sonu Sah, a prominent gold trader in Siliguri, has been missing for the past nine days, creating a stir in the Champasari area. Despite several efforts, the trader could not be traced and his disappearance has raised concerns among the locals and his family.

According to reports, Sonu Sah owns a jewellery shop in Champasari. His wife said that on November 21, Sonu left home in his four-wheeler to collect payment in Singtam, Sikkim. His family spoke to him on the phone around 12:30 pm that day. However, his phone is switched off since then and there has been no contact with him.

Three days after his disappearance, Sonu’s vehicle was found near Sevke station on Friday, while he is still missing. His wife has lodged a missing person report at the Pradhan Nagar police station, but the police have not been able to find any clues yet.

Meanwhile, his family is worried about his sudden disappearance. The police have intensified the investigation into the case. Currently, the officers are investigating possible clues leading to Sonu’s whereabouts.
