Alipurduar, July 01: Sensation spread after the rescue of a pangolin in Falakata. Reportedly, on Sunday night, Jayant De Sarkar, a local resident of the area, saw the pangolin roaming outside his residence in Uttarpara area adjacent to Kunjnagar market in Falakata block. The matter was informed to the forest department officials of Kunjnagar and later the pangolin was rescued.
In this regard, Kunjnagar beat officer Sanad Sur said that information about the matter will be given to the ranger and the animal will be released as per the instructions.
