Prabhas’ starrer Salaar released on 22 December 2023 is rocking at the box office. However, over weekdays, the film’s collections showed a slow decrease within its first week at the box office.
As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, Salaar collected Rs 12.55 crore on its 9th day at the box office. The gross domestic collection of the action-thriller now stands at Rs 330.17 crore.
Salaar’s box office trajectory has seen a downward spiral soon after its record breaking opening day. The movie started strong and made Rs 90.7 crore on Friday (day 1), followed by Rs 56.35 crore on Saturday (day 2) and Rs 62.05 crore on Sunday (day 3).
By the end of its first week run, Salaar had gained Rs 308 crore in India for all languages. The collection was majorly by Prabhas’ Telugu and Hindi speaking fanbase. The movie in Telugu and Hindi language had minted Rs 186.05 crore and Rs 92.5 crore respectively.
On December 30, 2023, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) that Salaar had crossed Rs 550 crore mark at the world box office. Keeping the momentum, the movie is on its way to surpass the Rs 600 crore milestone worldwide.
