The two activists filed a police complaint against Sarma, Vasudev and state tourism minister Jayant Malla Barua, claiming they violated the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 when they entered the national park beyond scheduled tour hours on Saturday.
Sarma also said on Sunday that there is no law that people cannot go to the park at night.
Vasudev who came to visit Assam on Saturday along with CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the three-day Chintan Shivir at Kaziranga.
