Royal Stag BoomBox unveils ‘Maybe’ by Armaan Malik & Ikka, strengthens youth music connect

Royal Stag BoomBox, the flagship music IP by Seagram’s Royal Stag in partnership with Universal Music Group, has launched its latest original track Maybe, featuring singer Armaan Malik and rapper Ikka. This third release of the season under BoomBox Originals blends Bollywood melody with hip-hop, staying true to the platform’s signature format that celebrates bold, youthful expression.

Maybe follows successful originals like Sigh and Sajna Mera, and is now available across YouTube, social media, and major streaming platforms. The track explores the emotional nuances of modern love — torn between hope and uncertainty — resonating with Gen Z’s evolving sensibilities.

Commenting on the collaboration, Armaan Malik shared that the song is “honest and emotional,” while Ikka described it as “a vibe,” capturing moments we all wish to prolong. Senior executives from Pernod Ricard India and Universal Music Group emphasized the platform’s role in redefining India’s music culture by enabling genre experimentation.

The track is gaining momentum among college students and music influencers, especially through local music hubs and youth cafés. The hybrid style of Maybe aligns well with the city’s growing appetite for experimental Indian music, signalling market potential in smaller metros.
