RLG’s Clean to Green ‘On Wheels’ to collect 5500 MT of e-waste

RLG Systems India Private Limited announced the launch of Clean to Green On Wheels, the latest version of the company’s flagship campaign, Clean to Green.

RLG Systems India Private Limited is part of Munich-headquartered Reverse Logistics Group (RLG), a leading global service provider of comprehensive reverse logistics solutions. Their latest awareness & collection programme would cover 110 cities and 300 towns and touch over four million citizens across the country. The areas covered in Shillong under the Clean to Green On Wheels Campaign – Police Bazar, GS Road.

Under the initiative, 9 collection vehicles would travel across cities and towns in the country and collect 5500 MT of e-waste from end-users while conducting awareness activities amongst school students, corporate bodies, bulk consumers, retailers, members of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), informal sector, and healthcare camps. The campaign would begin simultaneously in New Delhi and Jammu in the North; Kolkata, Guwahati & Ranchi in the East; Ahmedabad in the West; and Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad in the Southern part of the country. The collection vehicles would follow a set beat plan; the ground teams would facilitate the collection of e-waste from end-users while conducting over 1,145 promotional and awareness activities using social media, Clean to Green portal, radio, classified and media releases.

Manufacturers and brands such as Microsoft, LG, HP, OPPO, Lenovo, Pioneer, Motorola, Fujitsu, Brother, Siemens, Haier, Videojet, Veira, IFB, Havells, Lloyd, SMT, Bartech, Videotex, Daiwa, Shinco, Infinix, Citi Trading, ARU, Trovo, Vizion, Alchemie, Techno, Itel and Oraimo are associated with RLG Systems India Private Limited.
