RLG to tackle Electronic Waste Problem

A leading global service provider of comprehensive reverse logistics solutions, Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) launched its flagship campaign ‘Clean to Green’ in May 2020. It will be running till March 2021. The campaign aimed at creating awareness and sensitizing consumers on responsible disposal of electronics and safe practices for recycling by partnering with responsible organizations.

In Agartala, Clean to Green Campaign was held at Jolaibari Market, Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited, Jolaibari Branch, IS Office (Inspector of Schools) and Jolaibari Society till 31 December 2020.

India is currently the fourth largest producer of e-waste in the world. About 95 per cent of India’s e-waste is recycled in the informal sector and in a crude manner. RLG’s Clean to Green campaign saw great success over the last 3 years; reached people in 25 states and 6 UT’s. The campaign reached out to 22,21,406 individuals. In FY 2020-21, Clean to Green launched on 16 May’20 and till 31 December’20, 199 Activities (on ground & online) with reach of 2,06,176 in 28 cities have been achieved and will continue till March 2021.
